Noah Pescitelli is a member of the Mill Creek High School Fishing Team and is the first student in Georgia to receive an athletic scholarship for fishing.
Noah started fishing as a youngster. His father Steve is allergic to fish but has been by Noah’s side supporting him in his passion from the beginning and behind every good man is a good woman, and that would be Noah’s mom Patti.
Noah Pescitelli and his entire familyThere were grandparents, professional anglers and industry professionals on hand that spoke about their experiences with Noah such as; He absorbs everything, patient, well-mannered, dedicated to the sport, good for Lake Lanier and beats adults in tournaments!
I asked Noah what he thought were the keys to him receiving the scholarship. Noah replied; “my social media and marketing skills where I have 100,000 followers and in my first year of competitive fishing I finished 2nd in the State Championship missing the win by .03 oz., and that qualified me for the National Championship”.
